Code of Conduct
Sketchbook Fight Club
is a radically inclusive,
judgment-free zone.
Here’s how we keep it that way:
Rule #1. (and most importantly!)
We're here to fight
perfectionism and procrastination,
not each other.
#2. Respect is Non-Negotiable
We’re committed to making this space safe, welcoming, and accessible for everyone and centering marginalized folks, including our approach to health and safety (below). Discrimination and harassment will not be tolerated.
3. Kind, Consent-Based Feedback
We critique only if invited and we are supportive and constructive.
4. Privacy matters
Art can be really personal, so what’s shared here stays here unless explicit permission to share is given.
5. Progress over perfection
Every sketch and experiment is celebrated!
Health & Safety
Our Approach to Health & Safety
This event takes place in a public space that we don’t control, which means there may be people present who are not part of our group. To help protect one another and show respect for the wider community, we ask all attendees to:
Stay home if you’re sick! We’ll catch you at another event.
Keep up to date on vaccinations if you are able.
Mask indoors, especially in close contact spaces (we’ll provide free masks at the door).
Use hand sanitizer, available throughout the space.
Respect others’ boundaries around masking, distance, and comfort levels.
We know everyone’s situation is different, and we trust our community to show up with care and compassion. Choosing to mask or vaccinate isn’t just about personal health; it’s a way we can keep the space accessible and welcoming for more people.
Thank you for helping us create an environment where everyone can focus on connecting, creating, and enjoying the event.
